This list of the top software houses in Lahore compares eight firms, from PSX- and Nasdaq-listed enterprise vendors to SME-focused builders, on facts you can check: public disclosures, published pricing, stated specialisation and company size. We are a Lahore software house ourselves, so we left ourselves out of the ranking and explain our method in full.
Key takeaways
- Only one of the eight firms publishes PKR prices on its own site; the rest quote per project.
- Two are publicly listed (Systems Limited on PSX, NETSOL on Nasdaq), which means audited financials anyone can read.
- Pick by size and specialisation first: an enterprise vendor and an SME builder are not substitutes.
- Before signing, confirm in writing that you own the code, the repository and the hosting accounts.
How we ranked these software houses (criteria and disclosure)
Most rankings of Lahore software companies are published by a software company. One recent list we reviewed, by Softvirtue, is honest about including itself and says it does not rank firms against each other, but it gives no inclusion criteria and little detail per company. Other lists put the author at number one without saying so. We wanted a short list where each claim has a source and the scoring rules are visible.
Digital-Marketing.pk builds custom software, CRMs and apps from Gulberg III, Lahore, under founder Junaid Tariq. Every firm below is a competitor or potential partner. None paid to appear, we have no referral arrangements, and we excluded ourselves from the scores. Our rules are in our editorial policy.
Four scoring rules (one point each)
| Signal | Earns 1 point when | Why it matters to a buyer |
|---|---|---|
| Lahore delivery confirmed | A cited source places its development work in Lahore | You can meet the team and visit the office |
| Public financial disclosure | The company or its parent is listed and publishes audited results | Evidence of scale and stability |
| Published pricing | Prices or ranges appear on its own website | You can budget before the first meeting |
| Clear specialisation | Its stated focus is a defined product, industry or model | Specialists usually go deeper in their niche |
Ties are broken alphabetically. Checks were made in October 2026, and public information changes, so confirm every detail with the company directly. The score measures how much you can verify before you call, not code quality, delivery record or how well a firm would suit your project. Nobody outside a client relationship can score those fairly.
The filters we added
Existing lists lump a 6-person studio and a listed multinational together. We tag each firm by size band and specialisation so you can filter: enterprise vendors, product engineering firms, dedicated-team providers and SME system builders.
Top software houses in Lahore: comparison table
Pricing is shown exactly as published. Where a firm publishes nothing, the cell says so. Size bands use public information only; where none was available we say so rather than estimate.
| Rank | Company | Size band | Specialisation | Published pricing | Score | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | NETSOL Technologies | Enterprise, Nasdaq-listed parent | Asset finance and leasing software | Not published | 3/4 | Banks, leasing and auto finance firms |
| 2 | Softvirtue | SME-focused | Inventory, POS and ERP for SMEs | PKR ranges on its site | 3/4 | SMEs wanting fixed PKR prices |
| 3 | Systems Limited | Enterprise, PSX-listed | Enterprise IT and digital services | Not published | 3/4 | Large enterprises and banks |
| 4 | Arbisoft | Not published | Product engineering and data | Not published | 2/4 | Funded product companies |
| 5 | Devsinc | Not published | Enterprise software, staff augmentation | Not published | 2/4 | Teams needing extra developers |
| 6 | Genetech Solutions | Not published | Web, mobile and design | Not published | 2/4 | Websites and apps with design focus |
| 7 | InvoZone | Not published | Dedicated development teams | Not published | 2/4 | Foreign start-ups hiring a team |
| 8 | Prismatic Technologies | Not published | ERP and business software | Not published | 2/4 | Businesses replacing spreadsheets with ERP |
The gap is clear. Only one firm lets you see a price before a call, and only two disclose financials. For everyone else, the proposal and a reference call are your main evidence.
Company profiles: services, size, pricing and best fit
Each profile includes only what a linked source states. Where our information comes from a third-party list rather than the company's own site, we say so. Visit each website and confirm services and terms before you shortlist.
1. NETSOL Technologies
NETSOL Technologies builds software for the asset finance and leasing industry, used by banks, auto finance and equipment leasing companies. Its parent is listed on Nasdaq, so annual reports are public, and its main development operations are in Lahore. This is a product company first: it sells and implements its own platform rather than building custom software from a blank page.
- Size band: enterprise
- Pricing: not published; enterprise licensing and implementation
- Not a fit for: small custom projects or SME tools
- Best for: lenders and leasing firms that need a proven finance platform
2. Softvirtue
Softvirtue says it has operated since 2010 from Shadman Market and focuses on inventory, POS and ERP systems for Pakistani SMEs. It is the only firm here with prices on its own site: its pricing page lists PKR 80,000 to 150,000 for a single-module system, PKR 150,000 to 400,000 for multi-module work and PKR 400,000 to 600,000+ for enterprise or ERP builds. It also sells digital marketing, so software is one of several lines.
- Size band: SME-focused
- Pricing: published PKR ranges
- Lost a point for: no public financial disclosure
- Best for: shops, distributors and SMEs wanting a predictable PKR budget
3. Systems Limited
Systems Limited was founded in 1977 and is headquartered in Lahore, making it one of Pakistan's oldest software companies. It is listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange and works mainly on enterprise IT, digital transformation and outsourced services for large organisations at home and abroad, as described on its website.
- Size band: enterprise
- Pricing: not published; enterprise contracts
- Not a fit for: a small business with a PKR 200,000 budget
- Best for: banks, telecoms and large corporates running multi-year programmes
4. Arbisoft
Arbisoft is a long-established Lahore firm known for product engineering and data work, often for international product companies; the Softvirtue list describes it the same way. It is better suited to building and scaling a software product than to a one-off internal tool.
- Size band: not published
- Pricing: not published
- Best for: funded start-ups and product companies needing engineering depth
5. Devsinc
Devsinc is a Lahore company offering enterprise software development and staff augmentation, according to its website and the Softvirtue list. Staff augmentation means you add their developers to your team and manage them yourself, which suits buyers who already have a technical lead.
- Size band: not published
- Pricing: not published
- Best for: companies that need extra developers under their own management
6. Genetech Solutions
Genetech Solutions is described in the Softvirtue list as one of the older Lahore firms, working on web, mobile and design. We could not confirm size or pricing from a primary source, so check its own site and portfolio before shortlisting.
- Size band: not published
- Pricing: not published
- Best for: design-led websites and mobile apps
7. InvoZone
InvoZone provides dedicated development teams for web, mobile and blockchain projects, per the Softvirtue list. The dedicated-team model works when you have a roadmap and someone on your side to set priorities each week.
- Size band: not published
- Pricing: not published
- Best for: overseas start-ups building a remote team in Lahore
8. Prismatic Technologies
Prismatic Technologies is listed in Gulberg with a focus on ERP and business software, according to the Softvirtue list. We could not reach a primary source during this check, so confirm its address, modules and support terms directly.
- Size band: not published
- Pricing: not published
- Best for: businesses moving accounts, stock and HR off spreadsheets
How to choose the right software company in Lahore
Start by matching size and model to your project, then test the shortlist. A good firm for a bank core system is usually the wrong firm for a clinic booking tool, and the reverse is just as true.
| Your project | Look for | Typical model |
|---|---|---|
| Inventory, POS or accounts for an SME | SME builders with published prices | Fixed scope by milestone |
| Industry system (school, clinic, society) | Firms with that industry's live work | Fixed scope, then support plan |
| SaaS product or start-up MVP | Product engineering firms | Dedicated team or milestones |
| Extra developers for your own team | Staff augmentation providers | Monthly per developer |
| Bank, telecom or large ERP | Listed enterprise vendors | Multi-year programme |
- Write a one-page brief with users, core workflows, integrations and budget band.
- Ask for two similar live projects and a reference you can call.
- Meet the technical lead, not only the sales manager.
- Compare quotes on the same scope. Our software development cost guide explains why quotes differ by three times.
- Check ownership terms: code, repository, domain and hosting in your name. See who owns the source code.
- Agree timelines and support in writing; our note on how long custom software takes gives realistic ranges.
- Start with a paid first phase before committing the whole budget.
Questions to ask on the first call
- Who will write the code, and are they employees or subcontractors?
- Which of your past projects is closest to mine, and can I see it live?
- How do you handle change requests once the scope is signed?
- What is included in the warranty period, and what does annual support cost?
- Which tools do you use for code, tasks and testing, and will I have access?
- Can you integrate local payments such as JazzCash and Easypaisa and WhatsApp messaging?
The answers tell you more than a sales deck. Among the top software houses in Lahore, the strongest firms answer these without hesitation and put the answers in the proposal. If a firm avoids the subcontractor question or will not give you repository access, move on.
If your need is specific, compare against focused pages such as school management software, clinic management software, SaaS development or ERP software development. For CRMs, weigh ready-made tools first with our custom CRM vs Zoho and HubSpot comparison and the CRM price guide.
Red flags to avoid
- A full quote after one phone call. Serious firms ask questions first.
- No written scope or change process. Disputes later are almost guaranteed.
- Hosting, domain or code held in the vendor's account. You should be able to walk away with everything.
- Large upfront payment. Milestone payments tied to demos protect both sides.
- Portfolio you cannot verify. Ask for live links and a client reference.
- No named project manager or technical lead. Someone must own delivery.
- Vague support terms. Response times and annual maintenance cost should be written down.
- Promises of features nobody scoped, such as free mobile apps or unlimited revisions.

The best predictor we have seen of a smooth project is how precise the proposal is. If a firm cannot describe your workflow back to you in writing, it will not build it correctly.
Junaid Tariq, FounderOverseas buyers should also read our guide to outsourcing software development to Pakistan, which covers contracts, time zones and data protection. A 2026 rate survey puts Pakistani developers at about $15 to $30 an hour, though firm rates depend on seniority and process.
Where Digital-Marketing.pk fits (outside the ranking)
We are not in the scored list, but if you want to compare us, our software house in Lahore page explains how we work from Gulberg III: custom systems, CRMs, WordPress plugins, web apps and mobile apps for SMEs and international clients, with founder-led scoping. Our full range is on our software development company page, and app projects are covered by our Lahore app development team.

Frequently asked questions
How were these companies ranked?
Each firm earned one point for four verifiable signals: Lahore delivery confirmed by a source, public financial disclosure, published pricing and a clearly stated specialisation. Ties were broken alphabetically. The score shows how much you can check before contacting a firm. It does not measure code quality or delivery record, which no outsider can assess without client data.
Which company is best for small businesses?
For most small businesses, an SME-focused builder with published prices is the safest start, because you can budget before the first meeting. In this list, Softvirtue is the only firm publishing PKR ranges. Enterprise vendors such as Systems Limited and NETSOL are built for large organisations and are rarely a fit for small budgets. Always compare at least three quotes on one scope.
How much do these companies charge?
Only Softvirtue publishes prices: PKR 80,000 to 150,000 for a single-module system, PKR 150,000 to 400,000 for multi-module work and PKR 400,000 to 600,000 or more for ERP. The others quote per project or per developer per month. Enterprise firms work on large contracts. Our cost guide explains what drives price differences.
Are you included in this list?
No. Digital-Marketing.pk is a Lahore software house, so ranking ourselves would be a conflict of interest. We describe our services separately at the end of the page and on our Lahore software house page. Nobody on the list paid to appear, and we will correct any factual error a listed company reports to us.
